Architect with the touch of Art

I would like to introduce myself as an active, diligent, creative, curious and self-made person working as an Architect & Portraitist (artist) in Tamil Nadu, India. I am a hobby photographer & love penning down my thoughts(Insideout) , my diverse interests and research on Cosmic, Vedic , Natural Science & Philosophy , Astrology occupy my time apart from Architecture. I grew up passionate about sketching something I see & perfecting the drawings since young. I got hooked to how I can envision something & bring it to real art with just paper & pencil. As a kid I was fascinated with the buildings and wanted to make them. My diverse interest towards Arts, History, Science and fascination for creating new spaces led me to select Architecture as my field in bachelor studies. So, I chose to pursue Bachelors in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. As a student of Architecture, I was introduced to the world of Drafting, Graphic designing, Conceptual Design, Detailing and 3-Dimensional Conceptualization. As a part of my degree to get professional training, I got an opportunity to work with one of the most leading Architectural Firms in Bangalore, Verneker Associates Pvt. Ltd. and Ambiance Design Studio. There, I got the chance to learn and to be a part of the design team and 3D Visualization department of several high-profile projects. After graduating, I was hired as a Junior Architect in one of the biggest & the oldest Architectural firm in Bangalore, Venkataramanan Associates which gave me a lot of experience in dealing with a project from scratch to handover. I worked almost a year in Cognizant & Wipro-IT projects. Each and every day gave me an opportunity to learn, explore and stretch my capacity to work. On top of that it involves a lot of fieldwork, unlike other fields where monotony governs in both working environment and tasks. My interest in Interior designing started while studying my Bachelor’s. Interior Designing allows to develop creative skills as well as the business skills. It helps to learn how to design to meet a client’s brief and also to look at the financial side, including budgeting. It provides a satisfaction of helping people to feel more comfortable, safe and inspired by their physical surroundings.
